Get to Know Cyndi

I am a busy mom to three active daughters who participate in various sports.

I was first introduced to physical therapy after tearing my ACL and meniscus playing high school basketball. Marketing was my initial career, but after staying home with my young daughters I chose to go back to school and study physical therapy.

I have a passion for Pilates and am blessed to get to teach it in the form of small group mat classes as well as private Pilates Reformer sessions tailored to meet your specific goals. At Body Balance, I work with a wide range of clients incorporating Pilates to create both therapeutic rehabilitation treatments as well as performance-based treatments for athletes. I have 15 years experience practicing Pilates and 7 years experience as a certified instructor.

My favorites:

  • Favorite Vacation Spot: is a tie between a beach in the Caribbean and snow skiing on a mountain!
  • Favorite Food: is anything chocolate and I am a coffee addict!!
  • Favorite Sports: I’m a runner and also do Pilates and hot yoga. I'm obsessed with practicing challenging yoga poses!
  • Hobbies: In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my husband and three daughters (ages 15, 11 and 9) as well as doing DIY projects.
  • Interesting facts: I am a certified scuba diver and have dove in Cozumel and Jamaica.

  • Certified Pilates instructor through Balanced Body®.
  • Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant.

  • Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing from Texas State University in San Marcos.
  • Associate of Applied Science degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Del Mar College in Corpus Christi.
